The route of Don Quixote is a fascinating journey to inland Spain where hardly anything seems to have changed since Cervantes described it in his masterpiece “Don Quixote de la Mancha”.

An easy route that will take us on a ride just like him, through plains of infinite horizons along paths between vineyards and olive groves. A route that will allow you to travel through a wine region where we will be able to taste some of its famous wines and typical gastronomy in its wineries.

There will be times when we will be surrounded by windmills and others when we will be at the top of the route’s hills, crossing up to three provinces of Castilla La Mancha.

Day 1: Pick up in Madrid and transfer to Belmonte with free afternoon to visit its historical sites
Day 2: From Belmonte to the historical Alcazar de San Juan discovering the first mills of the journey and much more.
Day 3: Tour through the vineyards and fields of Olivares visiting lagoons and more windmills
Day 4: Consuegra and its mills and Arab castle with end of the trip in the picturesque Tembleque
Day 5: Breakfast, transfer to Madrid and end of the experience

To get to Belmonte you have different options:
Belmonte is one hour and forty minutes away from Madrid by car.
If you do not have your own vehicle, you can also get to Belmonte by bus from Madrid.

Belmonte was declared a town of interest in 1968. Its castle, walking around the streets of La Mancha and enjoying whitewashed houses, squares, convents, palaces and chapels.
During the whole trip you will feel how the letters of Cervantes turn to reality seen by your eyes.

The reservation can be cancelled at any time before the beginning of the trip, with the following implications:
If the cancellation takes place before 30 days of the beginning of the trip -including the 30th day-, the full amount of the trip will be refunded.
If the cancellation takes place between 15 and 29 days before the beginning of the trip, 50% of the total amount of the trip will be refunded.
If the cancellation takes place 14 days before the trip, the amount of the trip will not be refunded.
