Volunteering in Africa is a way to invest your vacation in others where tourism and volunteering combine for a unique experience

“A child can teach three things to an adult: to be happy for no reason, to be always busy doing something, and to know how to ask for what they want with all their might”

  • Accommodation and meals included
  • Volunteer certificate upon completion (at the request of the volunteer)
  • Wi-Fi
  • In the months the school is closed for vacation, volunteers participate in tutoring or at orphanages

In volunteering teaching in Uganda you will have the opportunity to pass on values and education to children 4 to 17 years old.
If you’re devoted to children, this program is for you.
In this volunteering program you will have the opportunity to learn the teacher’s methods first hand. Immersing yourself in children’s education will not only bring a smile to their faces but will also create a lasting and constructive future for every child, their families, and Ugandan society in general.
Your support of teachers will help you contribute to the school’s academic development. This will create a more child-friendly environment and motivate them to continue their education through games and study activities.

Volunteers will stay in a house where they will live with the rest of the volunteers and a local caregiver who takes care of the housework. Rooms are shared by gender and each bed has its own mosquito net.
If volunteers want to eat out, there are several restaurants and cafés for all tastes and budgets.

Team whose mission is to offer solidarity experiences that connect with the most human aspects. We support all people who take the initiative to volunteer and help other populations that need it most. So in recent years, together with our associations, we have organized thousands of volunteers for all those who want to help safely and responsibly.

Volunteering gives us the possibility of disconnecting from daily small things so that when we return we appreciate all the good things we have. And that, after all, is something very, very good!
When you surround yourself with people who don’t have much, you start wondering if all these “essential” things are really important. When you keep what is strictly necessary, you realize that it is really very little. This can become extremely liberating when you return, since you give less importance to things and more importance to life.
Having the opportunity to volunteer can be a natural way to find out what matters to you.
In fact, the modern pressures of society often make us feel compelled to follow a specific career path whatever it may be. Volunteering in another country can help us get away from these pressures so that we can deal with them on our return.
Learning to know another way of life by putting yourself on the feet of other human beings opens your eyes, ears and mind, to the world around you. You will eat as one more, you will sleep as one more, you will drink as one more …
And the most important thing is the help you can offer with your time, with your hands to people who really need it. And that without the volunteers they probably could not access education or medical services.

Volunteers must arrive at Entebbe International Airport (EBB airport code), where they will be picked up by local staff, and then transferred to their accommodation.

Uganda has ten national parks and many other protected areas that enjoy impressive animal and plant wealth, which also offer the advantage of being quieter, as they do not receive the same amount of tourists as those in the neighboring countries of Kenya and Tanzania . In them you can do all kinds of safaris to see closely the best of African wildlife in freedom, enjoying an exciting route in 4X4, by boat, by bike or on foot. But, in addition, Uganda will allow you to make excursions to rivers and lakes and go bungee jumping and rafting or visit ethnic communities and tribes and get closer to their unique traditions and customs through days of experiential and solidarity ecotourism.
Uganda is a country capable of falling in love with anyone who is lucky enough to visit it.
Full of majestic mountains and impressive waterfalls. Located in the very heart of the region of the great lakes, on a 1,000 meter high plateau, it is surrounded by imposing elevations that favors the agricultural activity of its people.
This makes Uganda one of the essential destinations for wild nature lovers, who can enjoy spectacular landscapes such as the Murchison Waterfalls National Park, the Rowenzoril Mountains, Victoria Lake, Elgon Volcano or the forest Kibale A country where the deserted savanna intermingles with the dense jungle.
