We invite you to take a journey of introspection that will help you to embrace the present and understand the vital moment you are currently in.

Our goal is to show you useful skills for your daily life, so we will practice simple and effective techniques that you can do at home and incorporate into your own practice. We can guarantee  that you will end the week feeling strong and totally inspired. The first part of the retreat we will do yoga practices that will help us focus and strengthen our spirit by connecting with ourselves and by creating a space in which we can observe ourselves. As the week progresses we will focus on opening our hearts and allowing emotions to flow while releasing tensions that our body may contain. At the end of the week we will practice asanas and pranayamas that will help us to deepen our state of meditation.

Each retreat is different as we create them in a customised way depending on the characteristics of the participants, skills and previous experience. It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced yogi or a beginner, we will practice taking into account your level and your needs at all times. The styles we will practice are Hatha, Hatha Vinyasa, Yin yoga, restorative yoga and various breathing and meditation techniques. We want you to feel free so none of the activities are compulsory, if you need to you can skip some of them.

Accommodation is on a sailing yacht. All the sailing boats we work with are designed with comfort. The interiors have exceptional space and are mainly furnished with teak wood. For each group we choose the right boat accommodating for 5 and 8 guests.                                                                    The interior of each yacht has 2, 3 or 4 double cabins and 1 or 2 bathrooms, a large salon with one or two folding beds, adesk area and a well-equipped kitchen.

Marta and her team want you to enjoy a few days of relaxation by offering you a unique experience of yoga and sailing. Marta is the founder and teacher of the retreat. Her aim is to contribute to the well-being of others and to help them reach their full potential. At the age of 20 she began her career in contemporary dance and also as a professional dancer, yoga has always accompanied her as a way not only to keep her body balanced, flexible and strong, but also as a form to foucs on herself before each performance.              Her long journey and experience as a yoga teacher has led her to create this magnificent retreat.

Stress, pressure, and anxiety are common in most of our daily lives. However, yoga can help you to get rid of the symptoms of these problems from your consciousness to pave the way towards inner peace. We can help you build a solid foundation:

•One of the foundations of yoga is conscious breathing, a method that allows participants to control their thought patterns, better connect with their own bodies, and improve their power of concentration.

•Moreover, few activities can help you understand the limits and possibilities of your body better than yoga, which will help you learn how to relax your muscles, stimulate your consciousness, and take a leap forward into the fascinating world of meditation, an essential step towards finding inner peace.

•Do you suffer from back pain or other muscle aches? Say goodbye to these issues with yoga, because every movement is designed to relieve muscle tension and make your body more flexible. In addition, thanks to these exercises and conscious breathing control, you will be able to address problems ranging from anxiety and stress to excess weight.

 

You can get there by plane or by ferry. From May to October, there are several regular airlines that fly daily from different airports around Europe to Menorca. From Barcelona there are several flights every day that take only 50 minutes. The airport is very close to Maó (where the yacht will be anchored) and the taxi from the airport to Mahon takes about 15 minutes.

You can also get there by fast ferry from Barcelona every day which takes 3.5 hours and 2 slow ferries which take between 7 and 9 hours and operate at night from Barcelona to Menorca and during the day from Menorca to Barcelona. The ferry companies go to the 2 main cities of Menorca:

BARCELONA – CIUTADELLA: Balearia

The boat departs from the port of Maó, but if you arrive to Ciutadella there are regular buses that take around 50 minutes to reach Maó.

What to do in Menorca?

Menorca is a Spanish island located in the Mediterranean Sea that belongs to the Balearic Islands archipelago. It is usually considered simpler than its neighbours, Mallorca and Ibiza, and is famous for its long beaches, which have sand dunes that are several kilometres long and rocky coves with turquoise waters. The coast is covered with pine forests and Mahon.
You simply have to let yourself get carried away by the island and discover its corners at the pace your body tells you to.
It is difficult not to fall in love with Menorca at first sight. During a getaway or  during a week, I assure you that you will feel you havent had sufficient time to enjoy all the wonderful corners it has to offer. One thing is certain: in Menorca there is no time for boredom. Here are some suggestions. This small paradise is worth a lot and is much more than its spectacular beaches.

The reservation can be cancelled at any time before the beginning of the trip, with the following implications:
If the cancellation takes place before 30 days of the beginning of the trip -including the 30th day-, the full amount of the trip will be refunded.
If the cancellation takes place between 15 and 29 days before the beginning of the trip, 50% of the total amount of the trip will be refunded.
If the cancellation takes place 14 days before the trip, the amount of the trip will not be refunded.
